On the 28th March 2025 Omega Asbestos Consulting Limited (OAC) was acquired by Environmental Essentials Limited (EEL) and following a period of integration OAC is now successfully integrated and trading as EEL as of the 20th September 2025.
“After expanding our compliance proposition with a trio of acquisitions, we’ve returned to our roots by investing in an excellent asbestos management business. Omega aligns with us culturally and strategically. With a strong presence in the North East, it helps strengthen our footprint and bridges the gap between our Stoke-on-Trent headquarters and key locations like Scotland, where we already support numerous customers.”

Moving forward….
As part of the deal, Omega’s managing director, Gary McKendrick, has exited the business to pursue different business interests. Commercial director Steve Hubery and Operations director Craig Johnston will remain with Environmental Essentials in senior management positions ensuring continuity of service and relationships moving forward.
“The last 10 years have produced some incredible experiences and upon review we are incredibly proud of what we have built and that a company as credible as Environmental Essentials found it attractive enough to acquire. A big thank you to our staff, past and present, for their efforts and we look forward to a new life with EE where we can pool resources, offer diverse services and collaborate on efficiencies to the benefit of our existing and future customers”
