I decided to join Omega in May 2017 as Senior Project Manager; having heard good things from one of the team whom I used to work with.
I am an experienced asbestos consultant holding the BOHS P402, P403, P404 and W504 qualifications and with experience in industrial, domestic and commercial properties in both surveying and on site analytical support during asbestos abatement works.
Having previously been a Regional / Technical Manager for my current employers, I was in charge of a team delivering survey and analytical works to a well-known high street Chemist with over 2500 stores. This work necessitated a high degree of accuracy and competency to ensure the safe continuation of programmed works involved in the maintenance and refurbishment of the clients’ sites. My skills in this sector are key to my success.
I also enjoy training and auditing new staff to ensure we are producing the next generation of surveyors and analysts who serve our clients with technical excellence and a positive experience.
My role also comprises producing RAMS, writing specifications and organising asbestos remedial works, generating quotations and scheduling works for the team.
I am thoroughly enjoying my time with Omega and the great team/culture we have.
In November 2017, I became the Quality Manager and I thoroughly enjoy this role in ensuring the business and the team deliver excellence at every touchpoint. We strive for continuous learning and improvements which is a refreshing way to operate.
