On the 9th May 2022, we hosted our Team Extravaganza Day which was a full day held at the Bowburn Hall Hotel where all the team got together for laughs, learning, inspiration and recognition.
The day included two surprise guest speakers in Steve Judge, a gold medal Paralympian, and his amazing story of strength, resilience, and achievement. And also Gavin Scott, an expert in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
After a fine feed at lunchtime, we then did some Firewalking, arrow breaking and rebar bending which tested our limited beliefs and can-do attitudes. A few feet had some ‘fire-kisses’! (I wonder if these need to go into the accident book?!)
And to top off a great day, we also had an Awards ceremony of 5 categories, voted for by colleagues, with each award bringing a 3rd to 1st place prize; the 1st place £100 Miller & Carter vouchers went down very well.
